Coconut Nutmeg Latte

 

Start by making your ingredients!  

Coconut Nutmeg Sauce  
Ingredients...  
  • 1 (11.25 oz) can Sweetened Condensed Coconut Milk  
  • Whole nutmeg 
Directions...  
  1. In a bowl or jar, grate 1 gram nutmeg onto your sweetened condensed coconut milk. 
  2. Mix to combine. 
  3. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.  

 

Now build your drink!  

Coconut Nutmeg Latte  
Ingredients...  
  • 2 shots (about 2 ounces) espresso  
  • 8 ounces whole milk (or other milk of choice)  
  • 1 ounce Coconut Nutmeg Sauce  
  • Whole nutmeg for grating as garnish  
 Directions...  
  1. Once your coffee beans are dialed in, brew a double shot of espresso on the Silvia Pro X.   
  2. Measure 1 oz of the Coconut Nutmeg Sauce into the bottom of your mug. 
  3. Using a small whisk or spoon, mix the espresso with the sauce until fully combined. * 
  4. Pour the milk into your milk pitcher and steam to your desired temperature and consistency. 
  5. Pour the milk into your espresso and sauce mixture. 
  6. Garnish with more freshly grated nutmeg. 
  7. Enjoy!   

 

*If pulling sauce from the fridge, it will be a firmer consistency and take longer to incorporate into your espresso.
